Associate Director CX IC Global Data Strategy Lead (Pharma)

Salary: $156,000–$234,000 base pay annually for US-based candidates, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and lead the Global Commercial data strategy and roadmap, evaluating emerging data sources, vendor capabilities, and market trends.
• Own commercial data sourcing, vendor selection, contracting approaches, onboarding requirements, and third-party vendor performance.
• Monitor contractual commitments, SLAs, data quality, timeliness, reliability, risks, and corrective actions.
• Maintain the commercial data inventory and improve the discoverability, reuse, governance, and scalability of data assets.
• Partner with enterprise data, governance, procurement, legal, franchise, medical affairs, market access, and CX leaders.
• Enable trusted data foundations for analytics, omnichannel engagement, and Commercial AI-driven customer experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in commercial data strategy or data sourcing within a pharmaceutical organization.
• Experience with external data sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, SLA oversight, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of commercial data domains, including HCP/HCO, patient, and payer data.
• Familiarity with master data management platforms, data governance tools, commercial data architectures, and data inventory or cataloging tools.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans, manage complexity, and align global stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or relevant graduate degree.
• Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industries, rare disease, or specialty brands.
• Experience with capability operating models and enterprise platform or global capability teams.
