Director of Data Quality and Operations (Healthcare Data)

Location: United States; primarily remote with occasional travel requirements

Salary: $180,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Define and execute enterprise-wide data quality strategies across aggregated specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical, and biotech data sources.
• Design data quality frameworks, SOPs, automated tools, and continuous improvement processes for real-time and longitudinal assessments.
• Lead and develop global onshore and offshore data operations teams, including hiring, training, performance management, and resource planning.
• Oversee data quality monitoring, audits, discrepancy detection, incident triage, root cause analysis, escalation, and remediation.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align data quality operations with customer and product needs.
• Provide customer-facing transparency reports and consultative insights while supporting compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, GDPR, SOC2, and GxP requirements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience overseeing data quality, data operations, or analytics in pharma, biotech, healthcare, or health tech data management.
• Experience leading global or offshore teams and building scalable operational functions.
• Deep knowledge of data profiling, validation, data quality frameworks, data standards, and process automation.
• Strong communication, quantitative, analytical, and customer relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage data quality programs and regulatory requirements across healthcare and life sciences data.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in business, informatics, biostatistics, operations research, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy, Hub, co-pay, and complex healthcare data sources.
• Experience delivering strategic and consultative data quality outcomes for life sciences customers.
