Client Experience Associate (Banking)

Location: Washington, DC, at the 18th and L Branch; in-office position

Base salary: $40,500–$67,500 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Deliver customer service and process a variety of branch and financial transactions.
• Educate customers on banking products, transaction options, technology, tools, and resources.
• Identify customer needs and refer appropriate banking opportunities to branch staff.
• Support lobby engagement and proactive sales conversations to grow customer loyalty and share of wallet.
• Resolve customer problems using product and procedural knowledge.
• Complete teller and branch operations accurately while following policies and risk controls.

Requirements

• Typically less than one year of related experience or relevant product knowledge; no university degree is required.
• High school diploma or GED may not be required, depending on comparable education, certifications, experience, or military service.
• Knowledge of banking products, branch banking, customer service, and customer experience practices.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, effective communication, problem solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to identify customer needs, detect and prevent fraud, manage risk, and use digital tools.
