Assistant Project Manager - Michels Pipeline, Inc.

Location: Charleston, SC; long-term onsite projects with extended travel and outdoor work required

What you will do

• Support project planning, organization, and implementation of project management principles.
• Assist with project controls, including cost and labor tracking, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and reporting.
• Analyze basic financial metrics and support project performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to meet deadlines and business needs.
• Contribute to safe, health-conscious, and environmentally responsible construction practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, with 0–3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Foundational knowledge of project management and construction management principles.
• Training in safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel for extended durations and commit to long-term onsite projects in outdoor environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera.
