Sr. Account Executive / Account Executive, Sponsorship Sales (Sports)

What you will do

• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve individual and team sponsorship revenue targets.
• Research and prospect local, regional, and national companies through networking and targeted outreach.
• Meet with prospects and close new and renewal corporate sponsorship agreements.
• Create sales presentations, proposals, integrated partnership packages, and negotiated contracts aligned with client marketing objectives.
• Manage sponsor relationships and provide support during game days and non-sporting events.
• Research sports sponsorship trends and collaborate with university stakeholders, operational leaders, and senior executives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3–5 years of sales experience, including integrated and conceptual sales.
• Demonstrated success meeting assigned sales quotas.
• Strong professional sales presentation, communication, networking, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Passion for college sports and athletics; direct sales experience in a sports multimedia environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work nights and weekends around sporting events, travel for client presentations, and perform regular standing, walking, and stair use.
