Employee Benefits Account Representative (Insurance)

What you will do

• Provide administrative support to Producers, Account Executives, and Account Managers across an assigned book of business.
• Prepare for employee benefits renewals and gather information for new and renewal business placement.
• Request carrier, partner, and vendor quotes and prepare proposal documents to support client purchasing decisions.
• Respond to client questions, escalate serious issues, and research claims and billing inquiries.
• Process coverage changes, eligibility updates, cancellations, and other administrative requests in the agency management system.
• Prepare accounts for re-marketing before renewal and support other assigned accounts as needed.

Requirements

• Texas General Lines Agent License: Life, Accident, Health, and HMO, or attainment of the license within 6 months of employment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft computer applications.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree.
• Insurance professional designation such as CISR, ACSR, CRM, or CIC.
