Legal Counsel (Entertainment)

Global music and entertainment company operating across commercial, licensing, artist, digital, and live-event activities.

What you will do

• Negotiate, draft, and review commercial, licensing, distribution, artist, endorsement, sponsorship, and other transactional agreements.
• Provide legal guidance during local artist signings, contractual negotiations, digital initiatives, concerts, live events, and new business ventures.
• Develop and maintain standard agreements and contractual provisions as business models and regulations evolve.
• Oversee contract databases and systems for artist rights and contractual obligations.
• Support corporate restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, compliance frameworks, statutory filings, and law-compliance reporting.
• Supervise litigation matters and manage relationships with external counsel while advising senior leadership on legal and commercial risks.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of post-qualification legal experience in commercial, corporate, intellectual property, or M&A matters.
• Deep understanding of UAE commercial law.
• Demonstrated ability to independently negotiate contracts, close deals, manage litigation, coordinate counsel, and advise senior leadership.
• Hands-on experience maintaining local legal systems and following compliance processes.
• Fluent Arabic and English.
