What you will do

• Monitor profit, sales, performance goals, and store financial reporting.
• Oversee the eyeglass department, inventory, efficiency, quality standards, and compliance with operational policies.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate Opticians, contact lens sales associates, and, where applicable, receptionists.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure associates meet service standards.
• Coordinate promotions, advertising, visual merchandising, and communication with store, district, and corporate leadership.
• Support staffing forecasts, recruiting, selection, and retention of store employees.

Requirements

• Optical sales experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Understanding of store operations and performance standards.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and solve problems of varied scope.

Nice to have

• Supervising experience.
• Required licenses or credentials may apply depending on state law and location.
