Assistant Manager - Bilingual (Optical Retail)

What you will do

• Monitor profit, sales, and performance goals, including reviewing P&L reports.
• Oversee the eyeglass department and ensure efficient, compliant store operations.
• Maintain high customer service and quality standards, including reviewing remakes and enforcing policies.
• Supervise, motivate, and coach opticians, contact lens sales associates, and, where applicable, receptionists.
• Coordinate with the General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office and provide store reporting.
• Support promotions, visual merchandising, staffing forecasts, recruiting, selection, and retention.

Requirements

• Fluent English and Spanish in reading and speaking.
• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Understanding of store operations, organizational planning, and performance monitoring.
• Strong oral and written communication and exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and solve problems of varied scope.
