Full Stack Java Engineer

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 USD per year, plus a 5% variable annual bonus and potential RSU grant.

What you will do

• Design and develop secure features, modules, and services across the full application stack.
• Build REST APIs using a public API-first approach and integrate third-party APIs.
• Troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement within an Agile team.
• Monitor and support production systems.
• Write and maintain automated tests.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional Java programming experience.
• Experience with Vue or a similar frontend framework.
• Experience building production-grade REST APIs and Java applications with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Git, Docker, Google Cloud Platform, and relational databases, preferably MySQL.
• Professional software development experience, understanding of the SDLC, and ability to learn new systems and domains quickly.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Kafka or other event-streaming platforms.
• Familiarity with microservices and microfrontend environments.
• Experience with SaaS products.
• Affiliate and Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA.
