Technical Account Manager (Azure)

What you will do

• Own the post-sales technical relationship for customers, serving as the primary advisor for Azure environments.
• Build relationships with technical and business stakeholders and understand cloud architecture, financial objectives, and operational priorities.
• Monitor Azure commitment coverage and utilization, recommending strategies that maximize savings and reduce commitment risk.
• Advise on Azure commitment sizing, FinOps maturity, cloud governance, and optimization strategy.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews covering utilization trends, realized savings, and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Product, Engineering, and Support on customer growth, issue resolution, and product feedback.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, Customer Success, Solutions Architecture, Cloud Consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience and Azure certifications.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, cloud economics, FinOps principles, and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience with Azure Reservations, Savings Plans, MACC, or similar cloud commitment programs.
• Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and translating technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• FinOps Certified Practitioner certification or equivalent experience.
