TL;DR

Location: East Providence, Rhode Island, USA; onsite at the manufacturing facility

What you will do

  • Set up and operate specialized automated production assembly equipment.
  • Set up manual jigs and fixtures and prepare materials for production.
  • Prepare first-piece samples for quality approval and monitor production quality.
  • Record materials, lot numbers, equipment adjustments, and production activities.
  • Use test equipment to troubleshoot product quality issues and equipment failures.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1–3 years of manufacturing experience setting up, operating, and monitoring automated production equipment.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools and use micrometers, calipers, a tape measure, and a multimeter.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Basic understanding of AC and DC electrical circuits.
  • Ability to work in a team, multitask, stand during working hours, and frequently lift up to 10 lb and occasionally up to 50 lb.

Nice to have

  • Trade or technical school education.
  • Experience using an oscilloscope.
  • Experience programming PLCs or other electronic equipment.
