What you will do

• Fabricate custom components and replacement parts for maintenance and engineering operations.
• Design and manufacture parts from sketches, samples, and verbal specifications when drawings are unavailable.
• Build jigs, fixtures, and tooling to improve manufacturing efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other machine-shop equipment.
• Manage tooling, supplies, and fabricated spare-parts ihirify.globalory to reduce production downtime.
• Coordinate priorities with the Maintenance Manager and implement equipment and process improvements.

Requirements

• More than one year of machinist or equivalent experience.
• Ability to operate CNC, lathe, and milling machines.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Experience using dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
• Fundamental and industrial mathematics, basic computer, data-entry, reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in an uncontrolled-temperature manufacturing environment, wear PPE, perform strenuous work, and lift up to 50 pounds.
