Data Analyst (AI)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; hybrid work with up to one day per week from home.

Base salary: $77,000–$131,000 annually for Colorado.

What you will do

• Intake, clarify, triage, and prioritize business questions based on urgency, value, stakeholder impact, and capacity.
• Use SQL, Excel, Python, statistical methods, and analytical tools for descriptive and diagnostic analysis, data pulls, and root-cause investigations.
• Analyze client, digital, marketing, sales, operational, workforce, and business performance questions.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Translate findings into concise implications, recommendations, and next steps for stakeholders and senior audiences.
• Prototype lightweight solutions, document analytical logic, and partner with Analytics Engineering on scalable or automation-heavy needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, operations management, operations research, statistics, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, machine-learning packages, applied statistics, data storytelling, and executive communication.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization software.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, stakeholder management, requirements gathering, collaboration, adaptability, and documentation skills.
• FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Data Science or Computer Science.
• Experience with Snowflake, JupyterHub, AnyLogic, simulation software, linear programming, or mathematical optimization solvers.
• Knowledge of Python/R, data modeling, automation, Git, Agile delivery, testing, and performance optimization.
