Electrical Engineer (Semiconductor / Atmospheric Solutions)

Location: Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid work arrangements may include in-office and remote work depending on role and business needs.

Base salary: $105,593.46–$142,861.74 USD annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Develop next-generation controls solutions for semiconductor automation equipment.
• Design new PCBs for system and robot controllers and prepare engineering design specifications.
• Analyze complex field and manufacturing challenges and provide timely investigations and responses.
• Present technical information, participate in design reviews, and resolve issues across engineering functions.
• Prototype and test circuits in laboratory environments and support debugging activities.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to deliver complete product solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with SPICE modeling and analysis or equivalent methods.
• Knowledge of digital circuit design using microcontrollers and SPI, I2C, and serial communication protocols.
• Experience designing DC-DC power supply circuits, selecting components, interpreting datasheets, and designing cables.
• Ability to use standard laboratory equipment, prototype and debug circuits, troubleshoot problems, and work independently.
• Strong technical communication and presentation skills; occasional travel of less than 5% is required. Applicants must be eligible for employment in the United States.
