Software Engineering, Team Lead (C#/.NET/AWS)

Location: Remote, candidates must live in the United States. Travel is required for the twice-annual hirify.global Retreat.

Salary: $135,000–$149,034 per year

What you will do

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of software developers.
• Design and develop web-based and mobile software products.
• Define application architecture and guide frontend, backend, API, database, and cloud implementation.
• Shape engineering practices across teams, including CI/CD, code reviews, branching, deployments, and quality assurance.
• Debug and troubleshoot production environments and guide resolution approaches.
• Evaluate complex proofs of concept and recommend solutions for organizational adoption.

Requirements

• Must live in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of progressive software development experience and 6–8 years of people management experience.
• Advanced web development skills with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Expertise in C#, .NET Core, REST APIs, ORMs, Domain-Driven Design, dependency injection, relational databases, and NoSQL data stores.
• Advanced AWS, CI/CD, secure coding, OWASP Top 10, Agile development, debugging, and production troubleshooting experience.
