TL;DR
Operations Manager, Mobile Integrated Health (Community Paramedicine) (Healthcare Operations): Designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and maintaining integrated clinical programs that deliver community-based care through mobile resources with an accent on patient-centered service, health system collaboration, and operational and financial goals. Focus on leading Community Paramedicine program delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary follow-up, implementing special projects, and applying evidence-informed decision-making.

Location: NL Head Office MHNL, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada

Salary: CAD 105,000–115,000 annually, plus eligibility for performance-based incentive programs.

hirify.global Health NL operates integrated road and air ambulance services and delivers emergency medical, primary healthcare, mobile integrated health, and community paramedicine programs across Newfoundland and Labrador.

What you will do

  • Lead the Mobile Integrated Health and Community Paramedicine program.
  • Design, develop, implement, evaluate, and maintain integrated clinical programs.
  • Coordinate mobile, out-of-hospital care with healthcare facilities and external healthcare providers.
  • Coordinate patient cohorts for follow-up by multidisciplinary Community Paramedicine response teams.
  • Lead special projects related to Mobile Integrated Health and community paramedicine.
  • Collaborate with health system partners to achieve clinical, operational, and financial goals.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in health sciences or an equivalent combination of education.
  • Completion of an approved paramedic training program and current registration as a paramedic in Newfoundland and Labrador.
  • At least five years of paramedic experience, including three years in a progressively responsible leadership role.
  • Experience with electronic medical records, patient care reporting, emergency medical services operations, and healthcare quality management.
  • Valid Class 4 driver's licence in good standing in Newfoundland and Labrador, or equivalent.
  • Experience with mobile integrated healthcare models, research practices, evidence-informed decision-making, stakeholder collaboration, staff development, negotiation, and dispute resolution.

Nice to have

  • Advanced Community Paramedic certificate or equivalent training.
