Application Developer II (Support) (.NET/C#)

Starting base pay: $85,731–$105,903 per year

What you will do

• Modify and maintain application software supporting internal and external business processes.
• Troubleshoot application incidents, outages, job failures, deployments, and performance issues.
• Analyze distributed application traces, exceptions, logs, and slow database queries.
• Maintain code, implement and unit-test code-level fixes, and document revisions and solution designs.
• Collaborate with analysts and functional teams to define requirements, resolve incidents, and improve applications and processes.
• Create installation, troubleshooting, training, and end-user documentation and help train users on application changes.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant work experience and a two-year associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Application support, SRE, or comparable technical support experience for distributed or cloud-based applications is preferred.
• Proficiency in at least one product-stack programming language, such as C#, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS, sufficient to write and test code-level fixes.
• Experience with Azure Application Insights or equivalent APM, KQL/Kusto queries, distributed tracing, exception analysis, and structured log analysis.
• Confident read-only SQL and PostgreSQL querying, slow-query diagnosis, and the ability to interpret .NET/C# and Angular/TypeScript stack traces.
• Experience inspecting Docker containers, running services, logs, configuration, environment variables, feature flags, and deployment settings.

Nice to have

• Four-year bachelor’s degree.
• Entity Framework Core query patterns, Redis cache diagnosis, RPC-based or contract-first service architectures, and .NET diagnostics.
• Networking fundamentals, including ingress, proxies, TLS, and service-to-service connectivity.
• CI/CD pipeline experience.
