Network Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Crane, Indiana, United States; in-person role reporting to the site five days a week

What you will do

• Set up, configure, test, and analyze network systems and tactical military applications.
• Diagnose and resolve complex networking problems through onsite or remote analysis, including root cause analysis.
• Install, configure, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations, hardware, and software.
• Assess performance upgrades using tactical military applications and operational scenarios.
• Apply cybersecurity hardening processes and policies and maintain accurate ATO documentation.
• Coordinate with third-party support teams and equipment vendors.

Requirements

• At least three years of network and/or tactical data link systems experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.
• Network router and operating system build and troubleshooting experience with Cisco systems.
• Linux system build and troubleshooting experience.
• US citizenship required; eligibility for access to classified information and successful completion of a security investigation are required.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree in network engineering, IT, computer science, or a related field.
• Navy Cyber Warfare Force or Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command experience.
• USMC experience in tactical air defense, air support operations, or tactical air operations and air defense systems.
• Experience with CAC2S, CTN, G/ATOR, or MACCS.
• CompTIA Network+, Security+, CySA+, or Cisco CCNA certification.
