Location: Laredo, Texas, United States. On-campus, face-to-face interactions and regular attendance on campus are required.
Salary: $7,047.75 monthly; $84,573 annually.

What you will do
- Lead the planning, design, implementation, modernization, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure, identity, cloud, and endpoint management solutions.
- Manage large and complex IT projects, including project plans, schedules, budgets, risk analysis, documentation, and vendor coordination.
- Develop multi-year infrastructure lifecycle, capital replacement, technology roadmap, and implementation plans.
- Oversee Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, enterprise storage, cloud infrastructure, and endpoint management services.
- Establish architecture standards, operational procedures, security baselines, automation strategies, and continuous improvement practices.
- Recruit, supervise, mentor, and provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary systems administration and infrastructure staff.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Management Information Systems or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 10 years of related IT experience.
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, systems administration, cloud technologies, IT service management, project management, and operational governance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead cross-functional initiatives, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Regular on-campus attendance and face-to-face work are required; occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
Nice to have
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field.
- Experience leading enterprise infrastructure teams and supporting server, cloud, identity, and endpoint management environments.
- Experience with infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, technology transformation, lifecycle planning, and capital budget recommendations.
- Experience supporting higher education or another large, complex enterprise environment.
