Risk Analyst ERM (Insurance)

Location: NY-New York, United States; primarily in the office

Base salary: $70,000–$83,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus under the applicable incentive plan.

What you will do

• Support the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of business and strategic risks across global property and casualty insurance businesses.
• Prepare quantitative and qualitative inputs for business risk self-assessments and related risk processes.
• Assist with risk dashboards, reports, and management presentations.
• Monitor trends, emerging risks, key risk indicators, and relevant market or regulatory developments.
• Support scenario analysis and exploratory risk assessments under senior guidance.
• Coordinate risk-data collection and validation, track mitigation actions, and escalate data issues or emerging concerns.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry or a related financial services environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with an interest in risk, insurance, or financial analysis.
• Ability to work with quantitative and qualitative information in risk assessments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, functions, and geographic locations.
• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, risk management, business, economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
