TL;DR
Analyst, Liquidity Risk Management (Financial Risk): Monitoring ING US’s liquidity position, analyzing business-as-usual and stressed liquidity metrics, and preparing risk reports with an accent on balance sheet developments, risk appetite, and regulatory controls. Focus on enhancing liquidity risk methodologies and reporting, translating data into management information, and collaborating with Treasury, Finance, Financial Markets, and business lines.

Location: New York, United States; hybrid work model with in-office and work-from-home flexibility

Salary: $79,000–$100,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

  • Monitor balance sheet developments relevant to ING US’s liquidity risk profile.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze business-as-usual and stressed liquidity risk metrics against risk appetite.
  • Support liquidity risk reporting for senior management, committees, and key stakeholders.
  • Enhance and document liquidity risk metrics, methodologies, reports, and processes.
  • Collaborate with Group Treasury, Finance, Financial Markets, and business lines.
  • Assist with regulatory examinations, SOX activities, model validation, and internal audit reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver under deadlines.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills, including the ability to translate data into relevant management information.
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in banking and liquidity risk management is advantageous.
  • Experience with Excel, Python, Power BI, or similar data analysis tools is preferred.
