Field Specimen Phlebotomist - Floater (Drug Testing)

Location: Remote, with preference for candidates based in New Jersey or Ohio; travel to multiple states for up to 90% of the time and on-site client coverage are required.

What you will do

• Provide coverage at multiple client sites during processor and phlebotomist absences or open positions.
• Identify and greet patients, collect billing and testing information, and provide customer service.
• Collect urine and oral fluid specimens for drug testing according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Enter patient data, collect payments, and package specimens for shipment to testing locations.
• Maintain workstation supplies, cleanliness, safety procedures, and appropriate personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of phlebotomy experience.
• Graduation from a phlebotomy program.
• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time and provide on-site coverage across multiple states.
• Ability to follow HIPAA, DrugScan compliance, safety, and specimen-handling procedures.

Nice to have

• One year of customer service experience.
