Director of Dining Services

Location: 440 Minot Ave, Auburn, Maine, USA; onsite

Compensation: from USD 35 per hour

What you will do

• Oversee daily dining services operations at the Clover Healthcare community.
• Manage purchasing of food and nonfood items, maintain raw food and supply budgets, and achieve ordering compliance targets.
• Coordinate meal production using standard recipes and ensure proper temperatures, portions, food safety, and prescribed diets.
• Improve resident satisfaction by providing choice, dignity, independence, and attentive dining service.
• Develop and implement kitchen operating, cleaning, and sanitation procedures.
• Hire, train, schedule, manage, discipline, and terminate dining staff while maintaining labor budget compliance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of previous food service experience.
• ServSafe and/or other required local, county, or state certifications.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly and frequently.
• Positive, professional attitude and ability to give clear direction respectfully.
• Strong attention to food quality, presentation, and cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
• Patience and effective communication with people of different personalities.
