Power Distribution Specialist

Employee-owned distributor serving the electrical, automation, pipe, valve, fitting, steam, lighting, industrial controls, and instrumentation industries through eight divisions and more than 75 locations across ten states.

What you will do

• Gather project requirements from customers, sales teams, and vendors and analyze technical specifications.
• Review plans, drawings, and project documentation to assess equipment and service needs.
• Prepare accurate quotations for power distribution projects using quotation software.
• Purchase appropriate equipment and support post-order project management as needed.
• Interface with sales teams and customers to negotiate and close orders and assist with project terms and conditions.

Requirements

• At least two years of sales, product, or industry experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications and knowledge of electrical distribution products and planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, customer service, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to multitask, shift priorities, and work in a fast-paced office environment; able to sit for up to eight hours per day.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with power distribution systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field.
