Director Embedded Finance (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, up to 50% remote, based at a Compeer office in Illinois, Minnesota, or Wisconsin; available locations include Johnston, Rochester, Bloomington, and Sun Prairie. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Base pay: $168,500–$257,400 USD annually, plus variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead business development strategies for Agri-Access, focusing on embedders and digital and retail partners.
• Build and maintain profitable relationships with agriculture-related technology companies seeking embedded financing and financial services.
• Set business development and profitability goals, manage high-profile accounts, and track results.
• Develop strategic priorities and coordinate marketing, CRM, digital business, and product enhancement initiatives.
• Partner with Credit, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Technology teams to develop credit products and launch delivery systems.
• Lead, coach, develop, and organize department teams while driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, agribusiness, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in financial services, including work with young or technology-enabled companies.
• At least five years of leadership and management experience, including leading remote team members.
• In-depth knowledge of financial-industry and Farm Credit laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
• Strong strategic, analytical, communication, relationship-building, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and U.S. work authorization; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
