Software Engineer, Senior

hirify.global Financial Services provides finance and insurance products for hirify.global and Lexus customers in North America and supports dealer and consumer digital platforms.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend services, APIs, and modern user interfaces for dealer and consumer journeys.
• Own features end to end, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Contribute to architecture, performance, scalability, resiliency, observability, and operational decisions.
• Build APIs supporting dealer workflows, pricing requests, credit journeys, rates, incentives, and decisions.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions while improving system quality and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence technical direction, engineering standards, and delivery practices using AI-assisted development tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering production-grade systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices architectures, APIs, and event-driven messaging.
• Practical AWS experience with ECS/Fargate, IAM, S3, and CloudWatch, plus Splunk or Dynatrace for debugging and production support.
• Frontend development experience with React, Next.js, or Vue, including component development and integration with backend APIs.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without current or future hirify.global immigration support or visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive or financial services domains, including retail, lease, incentives, and certified programs.
• Exposure to distributed systems and high-availability platforms.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Experience contributing to platform standards, shared services, reusable frameworks, or technical initiatives.
• Proven mentorship of junior engineers.
