Business Development Supervisor - Special Matters and Government Investigations

Annual salary in DC: $110,000–$130,000

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate value-driven content for pitches, RFP responses, and presentations.
• Prepare legal directory and award submissions and streamline matter and reference collection.
• Coordinate conferences, sponsorships, memberships, client events, webinars, follow-up activities, and ROI tracking.
• Maintain PowerPoint pitch decks, fact sheets, website content, and targeted content marketing initiatives.
• Execute cross-selling, client targeting, go-to-market, thought leadership, and direct outreach strategies.
• Research clients, competitors, and market developments; support lateral onboarding, business plans, partner coaching, and budget tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or JD is a plus.
• At least 5 years of professional marketing and business development experience, preferably in a law firm environment.
• Strong interest or demonstrated experience in investigations and regulatory enforcement.
• Advanced project management, stakeholder management, communication, prioritization, and execution skills.
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive matters.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM or content systems such as BD Hub and Foundation; familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and Harvey.
