What you will do
- Design and launch the data governance policy for account hierarchies, deduplication standards, and change control.
- Build, hire, and lead a Mexico City-based data governance team, defining workflows, procedures, and performance standards.
- Own Salesforce account hierarchy accuracy and maintain a single source of truth for customer relationships and counts.
- Establish OFAC and sanctions screening for in-process deals and channel-sourced opportunities, including escalation procedures with Legal and Compliance.
- Operate the Salesforce account-creation gateway and establish SLAs for account research, creation, and turnaround time.
- Develop an AI-first operating model using automation for detection, matching, research, and flagging while retaining human approval for transactional changes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or Salesforce data operations, including account or customer hierarchy management.
- 2+ years of people management experience, preferably building or scaling a new team.
- Direct experience with Salesforce account and contact data models.
- Familiarity with OFAC or sanctions screening processes and tools, and experience establishing SLAs in a controls-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated experience applying AI or automation to data quality or operations workflows.
- Fluent English required; candidates must be based in Mexico City. Bachelor’s degree required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Openprise, Data.com, Cloudingo, or Validity/DemandTools.
- Exposure to SOX or IPO-readiness data controls.
