Focus on detecting anomalies, applying risk scorecards, integrating new datasets, and using Python, SQL, Power BI, and approved AI tools with human oversight.

What you will do
- Manage the end-to-end acquisition, validation, onboarding, and maintenance of ESG, fundamental, and third-party index input data.
- Deliver accurate and timely data for rebalancing, screening, and index calculation.
- Implement data quality frameworks covering anomaly detection, risk scoring, proactive controls, and fallback methodologies.
- Drive automation, workflow optimization, and adoption of Python, SQL, Power BI, AI, and machine learning solutions.
- Translate index methodologies and data standards into local operating practices while maintaining regulatory and audit readiness.
- Partner with Index Research and Data Committees to evaluate datasets and provide analysis, presentations, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in financial services, capital markets, data operations, equity data management, or index operations.
- Knowledge of global equity markets, corporate actions, float methodologies, and ESG factors.
- Proficiency in Excel and foundational programming and data skills in Python, SQL, and Power BI.
- Experience leading transformation initiatives involving automation, workflow redesign, or new data products.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills, with flexibility across global time zones.
