hirify.global is a marine defense contractor providing power systems, parts, and aftermarket services to the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, Military Sealift Command, and Canadian Coast Guard. The role supports American Fan, a manufacturer of air movement equipment for industrial, HVAC, commercial, marine, and specialty markets.

What you will do

• Analyze business processes to identify AI and data opportunities that improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
• Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data for AI model development and performance tracking.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics covering ROI, risk, and operational outcomes.
• Run feasibility assessments and proofs of concept for predictive models, copilots, and automation workflows.
• Document AI use cases, data sources, risks, and controls according to security, privacy, and defense standards.
• Partner with IT, data engineering, and security, and support training and change management through documentation, demos, and user guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
• 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or applied AI/ML, preferably in regulated or security-conscious environments.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytics language: Python or R.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with classification, regression, NLP, clustering, and basic model evaluation.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance, especially in defense or highly regulated sectors.
