Account Payables Manager

Location: Eagle, Idaho; Pennant Service Center locations in Boise, Idaho, and Salt Lake City, Utah

What you will do

• Supervise, train, and mentor the accounts payable team.
• Identify and implement automation solutions to improve financial process efficiency, accuracy, and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with internal departments to analyze financial data and support reporting and process improvements.
• Support vendor management, resolve payment discrepancies, and ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and data integrity in compliance with accounting standards.
• Evaluate and test SOX internal controls over financial reporting, identify gaps, and recommend improvements while monitoring AP KPIs and team performance.

Requirements

• Experience identifying and implementing automation solutions in finance or accounts payable.
• Experience with SOX compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Minimum five years of accounts payable experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under time constraints, collaborate cross-functionally, and lead process improvements.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct or equivalent ERP software.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Familiarity with RPA, ERP systems, or similar automation technologies.
• Experience with Tipalti, Sage Intacct, or similar platforms.
