Location: Hybrid in New York or San Francisco

Salary: $200K – $265K + Equity & Bonus

What you will do

• Set the strategy and long-term direction for the accounting function, systems, and team.
• Manage core financial operations including general ledger, AP, AR, and multi-currency consolidations for global operations.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
• Optimize the financial technology stack, including NetSuite, Orb, Zip, and Ramp.
• Oversee tax planning, compliance, and relationships with third-party auditors and advisors.
• Provide financial reporting and strategic recommendations to company leadership and the Board of Directors.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership roles such as Controller or Head of Accounting.
• Public accounting experience combined with in-house operating experience at high-growth technology companies.
• Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP applied to complex business transactions.
• Proven track record of building scalable accounting systems, policies, and internal controls.
• Audit-readiness experience and strong close discipline.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in New York or San Francisco

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience in high-growth startups (Series C/D/E).
• Proficiency with NetSuite.
• Experience with crypto, digital assets, or blockchain.
