Head of Corporate Accounting

Location: San Francisco, CA

Base salary: $180,800–$226,000 USD annually for the full-time position in San Francisco.

What you will do

• Lead the month-end close across all entities and ensure timely, accurate U.S. GAAP financial reporting.
• Manage and develop the GL, Cost, Revenue, and International Accounting leads and their teams.
• Oversee treasury operations, including cash positioning, banking relationships, bank administration, intercompany funding, and cash movements.
• Own corporate accounting policies, journal entry review, reconciliations, flux analyses, and the internal controls environment.
• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives using NetSuite, AI-enabled close tools, agentic workstreams, and internal systems.
• Partner with Technical Accounting, Finance, Tax, and external auditors on new guidance, business activities, and annual audit deliverables.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience across public accounting and corporate accounting leadership roles; Big 4 experience is preferred.
• CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong NetSuite experience.
• Deep experience with multi-entity international subsidiaries, intercompany accounting, global consolidation, U.S. GAAP, and full-cycle month-end close processes.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, including building and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities within deadlines.
• Proven end-to-end process improvement leadership with measurable results, including shortening close cycles, automating reconciliations and accruals, or implementing close and ERP tooling.
• Ability to challenge the status quo, influence change, and streamline processes and operations.
