Digital Design Lead (Electrical)

What you will do

• Lead electrical discipline digital design work with minimal direction from an architect, engineer, or other technical professional.
• Create and maintain the electrical discipline BIM model, systems, content, project information, coordinates, views, and sheets.
• Generate BIM elements according to the required Level of Development, Digital Delivery Plan, project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, diagrams, and annotated documentation using current 3D software.
• Coordinate electrical design with other discipline models through design reviews and 3D coordination processes.
• Monitor and improve company standards, model health, and compliance with project Digital Delivery requirements.

Requirements

• Experience producing electrical discipline designs and documentation with current 3D software.
• Advanced understanding of architectural and engineering documentation and discipline-specific plan presentation.
• Ability to accurately model BIM elements within the constraints of the modelling environment.
• Understanding of how electrical discipline models interact with other discipline models.
• Ability to deliver accurate annotations and execute Digital Delivery requirements.
