Location: Edinburgh, UK. Hybrid working applies, with studio attendance required under current practice policy. Occasional travel may be required for meetings, workshops, site visits, and project work.

What you will do

• Develop architectural designs from concept and feasibility through detailed design, technical delivery, and construction.
• Own defined design packages and deliver coordinated work to programme, quality, and practice standards.
• Prepare drawings, models, diagrams, reports, presentations, planning information, technical submissions, and tender information.
• Coordinate architectural work with structural, MEP, specialist consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to client, consultant, and contractor meetings, design coordination, change management, site visits, inspections, and snagging.
• Support risk management, quality reviews, information management, mentoring, and continuing professional development.

Requirements

• UK ARB registration with RIBA Part 3 qualification, or an appropriate international equivalent.
• Experience supporting the design and delivery of architectural projects at one or more work stages.
• Working knowledge of project stages, construction methods, materials, standards, specifications, and relevant UK legislation or equivalent Middle East practice.
• Advanced proficiency in Rhino, Revit, and AutoCAD; intermediate proficiency in Adobe InDesign; and working proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Enscape or similar visualisation software.
• Excellent spoken and written English, strong organisation, attention to detail, presentation skills, and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• A strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, design thinking, technical awareness, and graphical communication.

Nice to have

• Experience on UK, international, or Middle East projects.
• Proficiency in Grasshopper, Adobe Illustrator, BIM workflows, and model coordination platforms.
• Experience leading substantial areas, packages, or teams for more demanding projects and A3 appointments.
