Structural Engineering Co-op

Location: On-site in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Travel may be required for customer site visits.

What you will do

• Support experienced engineers and designers with structural engineering project planning, analysis, design, and documentation.
• Collect information during field inspections and produce or interpret field sketches.
• Convert design sketches and markups into Revit models and support BIM and ACC applications.
• Understand general structural drawings and assemble drawing and deliverable packages.
• Coordinate project details with engineers, lead designers, and other discipline leads.
• Work on multiple projects while maintaining quality, accuracy, schedules, and effective communication.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of structural engineering fundamentals, technical documentation, problem solving, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication, collaboration, organization, time management, initiative, and professionalism.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to perform field investigations, including climbing ladders, and lift up to 20 lbs.
