Senior Civil Engineer - Transportation

What you will do

• Develop civil engineering concepts, detailed designs, tender documentation, and construction supervision through project completion.
• Design highway and drainage infrastructure while ensuring compliance with briefs, standards, regulations, and deadlines.
• Support project delivery by defining client briefs, technical requirements, scopes, cost plans, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, design variations, resources, and financial budgets.
• Implement quality assurance systems, conduct design reviews, and coordinate multidisciplinary designs.
• Maintain client relationships, support bids and proposals, and pursue new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of industry experience in civil design and project delivery; 6 years is preferred.
• BEng, MEng, MSc, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a relevant subject.
• Chartered or Incorporated Civil Engineer status, or progress toward IEng/CEng MICE.
• Experience designing highway and drainage infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, MicroStation, InRoads, AutoCAD, Micro Drainage, Revit, and other relevant civil engineering software.
• Strong communication, leadership, client-facing, project engineering, project management, and construction health and safety skills.

Nice to have

• Road safety audit experience.
• Knowledge of public sector frameworks.
