Accounting Manager

What you will do

• Lead, coach, develop, and supervise the accounting team.
• Coordinate general ledger month-end review and closing processes.
• Ensure accounting entries comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Oversee accounting operations for the general ledger, fixed assets, and accounts payable.
• Monitor system processes and integrations, and collaborate on system projects, implementations, and conversions.
• Manage staffing decisions, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Prior managerial or leadership experience.
• Experience with core banking application configurations and integrations.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies, including AI.
