Senior Logistics Contracts Manager

Location: Hybrid or onsite in Buffalo/East Aurora, New York, United States

Salary: $125,000–$165,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead negotiations and manage enterprise logistics contracts supporting multiple operating groups and global locations.
• Support procurement managers in developing and executing procurement strategies.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and administer vendor contracts, amendments, templates, and terms and conditions.
• Provide contractual guidance to procurement and logistics managers and consult with legal counsel on contract terms.
• Identify and mitigate supplier contract risks, including claims, disputes, litigation documentation, and contractual deviations.
• Improve contract lifecycle procedures and train procurement and logistics personnel on contract requirements and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related technical discipline; a JD is preferred.
• At least seven years of relevant contracts experience in procurement, supply chain, or contracts management, including at least three years of leadership experience.
• Experience managing global logistics contracts and understanding U.S. and international transactional principles, including the UCC, export licensing, imports, Incoterms, VAT, and duties.
• Experience working with legal counsel on contractual terms and conditions and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Flexibility to support meetings across different time zones and occasional domestic or international travel.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance and access U.S. export-controlled information.
