Simulation and Test Systems Manager

Salary: $190,000–$280,000 per year, plus equity and stock options

What you will do

• Lead and grow the engineering team responsible for the end-to-end simulation framework and test automation infrastructure.
• Build and evolve high-fidelity physics simulation, event-driven testing, hardware-in-the-loop environments, and cloud-scale Monte Carlo infrastructure.
• Balance rapid simulation-based testing and GNC algorithm evaluation with deterministic verification required for aviation certification.
• Provide technical and architectural guidance across framework performance, flight dynamics modeling, hardware emulation, and parallel cloud simulation.
• Develop technical roadmaps and manage priorities with GNC, Flight Software, Systems, Avionics, and Certification leaders.
• Scale engineering processes and deliver robust, reproducible, highly scalable verification tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in simulation framework design, physics modeling, or hardware-in-the-loop test development.
• 3+ years of technical leadership or people management experience, including scaling teams and engineering processes.
• Strong professional experience with C++ and Python for simulation, system integration, and data processing.
• Deep understanding of aircraft flight dynamics, sensor modeling, or control systems.
• Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled information must be legally established; documentation of U.S. person or non-U.S. person status is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with safety-critical or DO-178C software and hardware systems.
• Experience architecting distributed simulation frameworks, cluster virtualization, or cloud-scale Monte Carlo pipelines using AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with hardware emulators, waveform generators, or real-time operating systems.
• Success leading teams and maturing development processes in a high-growth environment.
