AI Enablement Engineer

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $111,000–$176,000 per year, depending on compensation tier, level, and location; equity and bonus included.

What you will do

• Partner with employees using Smart AI to understand their workflows, answer technical questions, and remove development blockers.
• Translate recurring user needs into requirements and execute the Smart AI roadmap.
• Build and improve reusable AI journeys, skills, templates, system instructions, and paved paths.
• Improve the internal vibe-coding environment, including integrations, connectors, APIs, model access, and supporting infrastructure.
• Prototype solutions with Claude Code and other AI-assisted development workflows.
• Host office hours and workshops while creating documentation, examples, and guidance for Smart AI capabilities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working in technology.
• Engineering experience or meaningful hands-on experience building with tools such as Claude Code.
• Understanding of how software is built, orchestrated, and deployed.
• Ability to learn new tools independently, identify user roadblocks, and build practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills across different levels of technical expertise.
• Ability to move between requirements gathering, implementation, debugging, and systems-level problem solving.

Nice to have

• Startup, entrepreneurial, business analysis, learning and development, or developer relations experience.
• Familiarity with hirify.global, Gitpod, DevPod, or GitHub Codespaces.
• Experience supporting an internal developer platform, AI enablement program, developer community, or technical center of excellence.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol, API integrations, and connections to Slack, GitHub, Salesforce, or internal databases.
• Experience creating technical workshops, documentation, examples, or enablement programs.
