Electrical Lead (PLC)

What you will do

• Supervise and guide electricians, apprentices, subcontractors, and the Electrical Shop team.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations for electrical, controls, PLC, and production equipment.
• Assist with integration, startup, debugging, relocation, and process improvements for equipment.
• Construct and modify electrical circuits and distribution equipment in accordance with NEC requirements.
• Train and coach technicians on safety, quality standards, and procedures.
• Maintain repair and modification documentation and update equipment files.

Requirements

• Valid electrician license in Texas required.
• Experience supervising electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors.
• Exceptional knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and equipment.
• PLC certification or demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, program, configure, and install PLC processors and components.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to implement preventive maintenance programs and manage electrical projects from planning through completion.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, lockout/tagout, and OSHA standards; willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, and on-call rotations.
