Mechanic I (Hydraulics and Electrical Systems)

hirify.global's JLG business develops access equipment, including mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, utility vehicles, and accessories.

What you will do

• Perform activity-based repairs, calibration, and service work on equipment.
• Install accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Diagnose equipment issues and direct or assist Assemblers with troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Record findings using an iPad or laptop and help maintain inventory accuracy through data entry.
• Follow work instructions and maintain quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Operate or learn to operate tools, forklifts, and diagnostic equipment.

Requirements

• At least one year of basic experience with hydraulics, electrical, gas, and diesel systems.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of DC electricity, hydraulics, mechanical prints, computer applications, and diagnostic tools such as multimeters, pressure testers, and analyzers.
• Strong math skills, basic mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail.
• Regular reliable attendance in person and on site is required.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and potentially seven days a week.
