Offline Technician

Location: Kansas City, Missouri, United States; onsite at an assigned facility

JLG, an hirify.global company, develops and manufactures access equipment including mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, utility vehicles, and accessories.

What you will do

• Inspect and test facility-specific access equipment before shipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components using schematics, blueprints, and specialty tools.
• Identify defect origins, support corrective actions, and verify machine configuration against sales orders.
• Work across assembly-line stations and use electronic systems including EQC, MDS, JED, and AS400.
• Train new team members on processes and equipment functions.
• Support issue resolution, new product development, and product or process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Ability to drive, test, and conduct offline inspections on facility equipment.
• Ability to work at any station on the assembly line and use required tools and equipment.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including overtime, weekends, or shift rotations, and lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds occasionally.
