Mechanic

Location: Springtown, Texas, United States; in-person and on-site attendance required

JLG, an hirify.global company, develops access equipment including mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, utility vehicles, and accessories.

What you will do

• Perform basic repairs, calibration, and maintenance on equipment.
• Complete activity-based repairs and service work from sales change orders.
• Install equipment accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Diagnose equipment issues and direct or assist Assemblers with troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Enter findings and inventory data using an iPad or laptop.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and quality-focused production workspace.

Requirements

• At least one year of basic experience with hydraulics, electrical, gas, and diesel systems.
• Basic knowledge of DC electricity, hydraulics, and mechanical prints.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use a multimeter, pressure tester, and analyzer.
• High school diploma or GED, strong math skills, and basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to learn forklift operation and safely lift, carry, push, and pull required loads.
• Ability to work on-site, maintain reliable attendance, and work overtime including evenings, weekends, holidays, or seven-day schedules as needed.
