Mechanical Engineer (Industrial Machinery)

What you will do

• Lead mechanical design and development of adhesive dispensing systems, subsystems, assemblies, sheet metal components, castings, and machined parts.
• Create 3D models, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using SolidWorks and CAD tools.
• Support the full product development lifecycle from concept generation and prototyping through validation and product launch.
• Coordinate mechanical integration, prototype assembly, design verification, validation testing, and performance evaluation.
• Diagnose mechanical issues in field and production environments, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality, Product Management, Sales, Service, suppliers, and customers on product improvements and customized solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development, including work from concept through production.
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Experience designing sheet metal components and assemblies, cast parts and housings, mechanical systems, and equipment structures.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, and casting processes, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Ability to read and prepare technical documentation in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with adhesive dispensing systems, fluid handling equipment, industrial machinery, or automation systems.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly principles.
• Experience supporting CE certification and product compliance activities.
• Experience with SAP C4C or other ERP/CRM systems.
• Understanding of finite element analysis and mechanical simulation tools.
