Operations Project Manager (Marine Manufacturing)

Location: Edgewater, Florida, United States; onsite. Travel required: 10%. Relocation is available. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Salary: $84,500–$123,900 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead operations-focused projects from initiation through execution and closure.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to deliver project objectives.
• Implement and sustain Daily Management Deployment practices, including Gemba walks and Gemba boards.
• Track Supply Chain, PPV, VAVE, and Tiered Control Activity initiatives across daily, weekly, and monthly reviews.
• Lead lean manufacturing improvements involving waste reduction, process standardization, workflow optimization, 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping.
• Analyze operational data and maintain dashboards and reports covering safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in marine, automotive, or heavy equipment industries.
• Project management experience in a production environment.
• Ability to calculate and validate takt time, cycle time, capacity, defects, COPQ, and line-balance studies.
• Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools, including SPC, capability analysis, and A3 methodology.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, influencing, and conflict-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Danaher/Fortive Business System.
• Experience supporting capital justification and evaluating new process-improvement technologies.
