Global Supply Chain Transitions Project Manager

Location: Austin, TX, United States; periodic domestic and international travel to supplier and Applied manufacturing sites is required. Relocation is not available.

Salary: $88,000–$121,000 per year, plus potential bonus and stock awards.

What you will do

• Manage supplier transitions from intake and scoping through qualification, implementation, and closure.
• Lead transitions involving site moves, dual-sourcing, supplier exits, and M&A integration support.
• Build qualification plans, execution plans, action trackers, risk registers, and status reports.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams involving engineering, quality, supply chain, business units, and suppliers.
• Assess supplier manufacturing capabilities and support supplier qualification, audits, and corrective actions.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, decisions, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge and experience in project and program management.
• Working knowledge of supply chain, supplier qualification, and change management processes.
• Experience applying Agile, Hybrid, or Traditional Waterfall project management approaches.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent work items, solve complex problems, and work with minimal guidance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional project teams without direct authority and build consensus with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time to domestic and international supplier and manufacturing sites; personal protective equipment may be required.
