What you will do

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, and AI-supported workflows.
• Drive automation across accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles, including invoice processing, payments, and collections.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate subsidiary financial reporting and perform consolidation processes.
• Analyze financial data and provide management insights on performance and financial health.
• Maintain accounting policies, processes, and internal controls while ensuring tax, regulatory, and statutory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with a relevant focus.
• At least two years of professional experience in a Big4 audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements, including HGB and IFRS or US GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English are required.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy in data entry and record-keeping, and the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
